We had an exciting week last week – celebrating Diwali! We were taught a Bollywood dance, we made Diwali lamps, Diwali laterns and wrote about the story of Rama and Sita. A fun week had by all!

Whole School Mosaic Project 2016
A big thank you to Carolyn Ash for all her hard work on our new school mosaic, what a fantastic time the children had taking part in the creative process! Our pupils penned some excellent designs based on the words from our school mission statement, the work is intended to reflect the values and ethos of our school. The completed mosaic will go on permanent display at school so it can be enjoyed by all. We are looking forward to seeing the end result. In the meantime here are a few photographs of the work in progress. More pictures to follow…

Year 3 History of Norwich Trip
On Friday 30th September Year 3 went on a trip to the Bridewell Museum to find out about the history of our local area. We explored the exhibits and had a lesson from George about industry and trades in Norwich years ago. Then we went on a short walking tour of the city looking at some important buildings and landmarks in Norwich before arriving at Carrow Road. David kindly showed us around the grounds and taught us about the history of Norwich City Football club. A good time was had by all and we returned to school with lots of extra facts to inform our learning. Thank you to parent helpers Mrs Collins and Mrs Dampier who joined us on the day and helped make the trip a success. See below for a few photographs from the day.
