For this terms Numeracy Cafe, Year 6 mixed magic potions to help them learn about scaling quantities up and down! William the Wizard provided the class with a recipe for 4 wizards, as he was having a party. However, he had no idea how many guests were going to turn up, so Year 6 got to work and created potions for different amounts of people.

This really helped with measuring and mixing as well as calculating ratio and proportion. Thank you so much to all of the adults involved and I hope you enjoyed it as much as the children!
