We have created our clay cartouches, first finding out how to write our names in hieroglyphics, then we designed the cartouche and finally carved them into clay. We also talked about Ancient Egyptian jobs. Tuesday afternoon we had a visitor to introduce us to ‘Making £5 grow’ which we are excited about and are looking forward to our next visit next week. In literacy we have started looking at using speech marks and speech bubbles. In numeracy we focused on mental maths using place value, times tables and addition and subtraction.
