In year 6 for science we have been learning about…… micro-organisms!

We have placed different things around our classroom under a UV light to see if it contains any bacteria.

Mr Edwards  brought a piece of mouldy bread to school to show us what mould looks like under a UV light. We put a lot of things under the UV light including:

Mud , Pencils , Shoes , Leaves , Grass ,unwashed cups and much more.

Y6 are also having a competition to see who can get their bread the mouldiest, by placing them around the school in different conditions. At the end of term we will see (by putting them underneath a UV light) who won.
