Stone Age Homes
Year 3 have designed and created their own Stone Age homes!
Year 3 have created some spectacular cave paintings inspired by those in the Stone Age.
A huge thank you to all the staff, parents and children who got involved in Big Draw activities during the term. Through our Big Draw events we aimed to promote collaborative artwork involving the whole school community and allow children to experience different art techniques whilst having fun. It was so rewarding to witness the children and grown-ups working together and cooperating with each other. The children enjoyed getting messy and one of the best parts for me was hearing the children compliment each other’s efforts. Three words I would use to sum up the Big Draw Project this year would be marvellous, motivating and messy! I have attached some pictures of our Creative Train of Thought project and other Big Draw related lessons.

On Wednesday 16th November we were given the exciting opportunity to visit Norwich synagogue. We were able to try on the kippas, wear tallits and were told all about tzitzits. Marsha and Todd were such brilliant hosts and gave us lots of information about the Jewish religion. Thank you!
Year 3 have written to some penpals at Kingsgate Primary School in London. Here is a link to their website showing our penpals writing back to us! Exciting times! 🙂

This is the E-safety powerpoint created by the digital leaders for our E-safety assembly on E-safety day. It holds lots of tips and advice!
A big thank you to all the adults who came to our cafe this morning. The children produced some fantastic art work with your help. Our work was inspired by the style of Austrian artist Gustav Klimt. The children explored making patterns using shape and line. They incorporated this into their “Crazy Quilt” designs and their fashion designs too.
Today we made Stone Age stew! During the Stone Age, people were hunters and gatherers so as well as hunting for mammoth they collected berries and plants to eat too! Year 3 wrote instructions of how to make Stone Age stew and we made it as a class. Some loved it, some didn’t!
